Introduction

India is one of the oldest civilizations in the world. Indian literature is almost equally old. The most ancient literature is those found in the caves and rocks in the form of structures, figures and symbols. Most of these have not been deciphered as yet. Similarly, the language and script of the Indus Valley civilization remain unknown to us. But we have with us the four Vedas written in Vedic Sanskrit- well preserved, well 8understood and well-known. The Indian literature occupies a pride of place in the world.
It is heartening to see the same tradition continue in modern times. India is full of authors and writers of immense talent, dedication and class. We have a very large readership of fiction and non-fiction literature. We publish one of the largest language of books in the world. In short, Indian Literature is live and running.
This site is dedicated to Indian literature, its major players and all other aspects related with literature.
I request you to be a part of this site and contribute your valuable views to it.
